The Role
As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping investment strategies by analyzing market trends, evaluating blockchain projects, and identifying emerging opportunities in the crypto space. Your expertise in Python and SQL will be essential in managing and interpreting large datasets, tracking key performance indicators, and providing actionable insights to the investment team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive data analysis on blockchain networks, tokenomics, DeFi protocols, GameFi trends, and AI-driven blockchain applications.
• Design and maintain SQL databases for tracking investments, market trends, and portfolio performance.
• Develop predictive models and dashboards to provide insights on emerging opportunities and potential risks.
• Work closely with the investment team to analyze on-chain and off-chain data, evaluate token performance, and assess project viability.
• Automate data collection processes and create reporting pipelines to improve decision-making efficiency.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies to track key metrics, optimize performance, and ensure sustainable growth.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in blockchain technology, crypto markets, and Web3 venture capital.

 
Requirements

• Experience in a venture capital fund (preferably with exposure to crypto/blockchain investments).
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, tokenomics, and Web3 ecosystems.
• Experience with on-chain data analysis using tools like Dune Analytics, Flipside Crypto, or Nansen is a plus.
• Ability to work with large datasets and translate data into meaningful insights for investment strategies.
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols, GameFi mechanics, and AI applications in blockchain is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Self-starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
