The Role
The company operates a 24/7 model to support crypto trading, which runs around the clock. The operations team is looking for a candidate to join the team 4 days per week, working from Saturday to Tuesday to support this trading.

The role will primarily focus on trade support during the weekend, but it goes beyond that. The team ethos is to develop robust and scalable solutions to improve the efficiency of team processes, meaning automation will also be a significant part of the role. With guidance from the team, candidates will improve and develop new processes using a range of technical skills such as Golang and SQL.

The role will extend beyond just cryptocurrencies, as the company trades various asset classes and operates with a global team. The company seeks technically minded candidates with enthusiasm, initiative, and the ability to work autonomously. The team has a presence in London, Singapore, New York, and Paris, with this role based in London.

Logistics
You will work on Saturday and Sunday (either from the office or from home, at your preference), and be in the office on Monday and Tuesday to enhance collaboration with the team. Your hours will be 11 am–11 pm GMT (Noon–Midnight during BST) on Saturday and Sunday, with normal working hours (8 am–6 pm) on Monday and Tuesday. Note – your compensation package will be equivalent to a standard 5-day workweek.

Responsibilities

• Trade Support: to be shared between Singapore and London during the weekend, with support from the rest of the team on Monday and Tuesday.
• Managing cash (margin) across multiple crypto exchanges and brokers.
• Live risk monitoring and escalation.
• Production of various reports (including P&L, risk, cash).
• Ad-hoc trade executions.
• Ad-hoc data analysis.
• Support business development in onboarding of new exchanges or counterparties.
• Build and maintain automated processes.
• Work with the technology team to develop new tools and applications.
• Opportunities to gain exposure to various asset classes across the entire trade life cycle.

Essential Attributes

• A minimum of a 2:1 in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Prior experience in cryptocurrencies (operations, support) is required.
• Keen to learn new technical skills.
• Keen interest in the cryptocurrency markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Disciplined self-starter with a high degree of motivation and rigor.
• Some programming experience (Python, Go) related to automation.
• Experience working on weekend support advantageous.
• Experience with other asset classes advantageous.
• A demonstrated aptitude and interest in process improvement.
