SVP Product Management - Blockchain Intelligence

The company is seeking a crypto fluent SVP Product to lead product strategy, drive growth, and ensure we build products that are beloved by our customers. In partnership with the executive team, you will set a business strategy and then translate that strategy into innovative and successful products.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to drive rapid growth in a high-paced startup environment. You will lead, inspire and direct our Product team as it translates vision into the roadmap and executes our product strategy. You will work with the engineering, data science, analytics, and design teams to drive the discovery of new customer needs, understand the market, and identify new opportunities for us to win in a rapidly changing environment.

All product roles at the company are customer-facing, and you should be equally comfortable chatting with users in Discord as you are creating a roadmap.

This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and manages an existing team of highly effective product leaders, managers, and designers.

The company enables blockchain communities to develop analytics on behalf of the protocols they support. Success in this position requires the employee to have a passion for the blockchain and crypto market and be willing to rapidly get from their current knowledge level to crypto expert. This will be a big (and exciting) challenge for the candidate to devote the time and energy to quickly ascend this learning curve.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy sessions with the Leadership team while being able to translate big ideas into roadmaps and meaningful action with Product and Engineering teams

Engage with the company Board of Directors, crypto protocols, and thought leaders to learn about the latest trends in crypto, share ideas, and translate those learnings into ideas for action at the company

Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics and other teams to ensure the transition from product strategy into a prioritized product roadmap

Make tradeoffs to get work out the door while not forgetting the long-term visionAttract, recruit and retain fantastic product talent

Help product leaders to grow and build clear career paths for their continued progression in our organization

Partner with Engineering to ensure our Product/Engineering team works as a unified high-performing team with repeatable frameworks and processes

Collaborate with Marketing to understand competitive offerings and develop product marketing tactics that drive adoption, usage, and retention

Set the appropriate objectives and metrics to track product performance and drive continuous improvement

As crypto often counts one day per human year, be able to swiftly adapt to rapidly changing environments. Be bold to lead fast experiments and iterations to ensure the company maintains its leading position in the industry.

You Are

Crypto-fluent, are aware that there is more to crypto than Bitcoin and have made investments of money and time to learn more about this ecosystem

Experienced in building and scaling large data-driven platforms

Expert in product management leadership, ideally in a high-growth organization.

Experienced in effectively leading, inspiring, and hiring remote, distributed product teams

Confident working in both a B2B and B2C environment

Demonstrated experience developing and driving alignment around a vision, setting goals, and executing projects to completion

Collaborative and build strong relationships across all corners of the organizations in which you work

Know-how Product can be an accelerant to an efficient and effective build process and use Agile methodologies to ship products faster

10+ years of experience in product management, 5+ years in senior product leadership
