Sr. Typescript Backend Engineer - Crypto Banking

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using TypeScript
• Build and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Optimize application performance for high scalability
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Lead code reviews and champion backend best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues effectively
• Implement security measures and data protection protocols
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth

What We’re Looking For

• Background in FinTech
• 5+ years of professional backend development experience
• Expertise in TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with server-side frameworks like Express.js or NestJS
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and architecture principles
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality backend solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience in early-stage FinTech projects
• Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers
• Proficiency in tRPC for type-safe API development
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Understanding of serverless architectures
• Expertise in test-driven development (TDD) and testing frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Skills in performance optimization and addressing scalability challenges
