Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) (Blockchain)

This client is one of the largest blockchain development companies in the world building out household name applications across finance, DeFi, NFT’s and general Blockchain SaaS solutions. Most of their employees operate fully remotely and we are looking for staff across a number of disciplines with this top tier client.


Responsibilities:

• Building an uber robust monitoring platform back by well defined SLOs
• Create sustainable services and processes through automation. Automate Everything!!!
• Operate and run production environments by monitoring availability and uptime
• Collaborate with the development team in design, infrastructure and capacity management
• Work with open-source technologies as needed
• Work with CI/CD tools, and source control to include GIT and GitLab

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience
• Programming experience in Python, Scala, GoLang, JavaScript, NodeJS or Shell scripting
• Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
• Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures and Linux/Unix administration
• Strong experience with networking fundamentals
• Experience working with distributed software
• Familiarity with infrastructure management concepts
• The ability to take ownership and see initiatives through
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to explain technical systems with team and management
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline

Potential skills:

• Previous experience in a blameless SRE environment
• Experience in software development and infrastructure development
• FinTech industry exposure
• Cryptocurrency knowledge
