Senior Blockchain Engineer (Smart Contract Dev Tools)

This client is one of the largest blockchain development companies in the world building out household name applications across finance, DeFi, NFT’s and general Blockchain SaaS solutions. Most of their employees operate fully remotely and we are looking for staff across a number of disciplines with this top tier client.


Responsibilities:

• Integrate multiple languages and compilers, detect which files have changed since previous compilations, and handle sources from external dependencies
• Connect to and interface with multiple blockchain networks in the same project, possibly with differing architectures
• Offer a contract abstraction that juggles the complex lifecycle of each blockchain transaction behind a straightforward JavaScript API
• Maintain a persistent record of users’ project artifacts to allow robust debugging and historical analysis

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Software design knowledge
• Good at hacking
• Good at cleaning up hacking
• History of working with strongly-typed languages
• Expertise with command-line interfaces
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills

Potential skills:

• Deep knowledge of solidity
• Professional TypeScript experience
• Core contribution work on a medium-to-large open source project
• Foundation in programming languages
