Senior Blockchain Engineer - Pictos.io

Overview
Pictos is a well funded startup in the NFT space.  We are looking for a hands on Director of Software Engineering to build and lead a small product development team.

Responsibilities
● Define the engineering culture at and what it means to be an engineer on the team
● Establish engineering-wide structure, processes, and systems.
● Run the development team as Scrum Master and communicate technical situations to non-technical people clearly and concisely.
● Become the full-stack anchor for the development team where the buck stops with you.  Know the system inside and out and be able to be hands on with development and devops.
● Substantial experience developing a product while concurrently figuring out what the product is

Requirements
● 10+ years engineering experience
● At least 2+ years of management experience
● A heavy proponent of Agile methodology, specifically a Scrum implementation with experience as a Scrum Master
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
● Substantial experience with web development, React, serverless architecture, SQL, NoSQL, Node.js, AWS, CI/CD, TDD, BDD
● Smart Contract experiencePreferred
● Fast paced start-up and/or scaling experience preferred
● Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and engineers
● Mobile app development experience
● NextJS experience
