Financial Processes & Internal Control Manager - Metaverse Project

We are looking for a Financial Processes and Internal Control Manager to centralize and coordinate processes and implement internal controls to ensure the Finance Department is efficient and compliant. You will report to the Finance Director.


Responsibilities

• Establish and implement strategy and timeline for SOPs documentation
• Collaborate with Division heads of the finance department (Chief Accountant, Head of PF&A, Treasury Manager) to establish and document the SOPs of each division. And to keep these SOPs up-to-date, with the needed evolutions
• Ensure the SOPs of each division are coherent with each other, contain the needed controls, and optimize the efficiency of the divisions
• Establish an Internal Control strategy
• Documents Internal Control processes, policies, and procedures
• Run Controls and submit reports and conclusions to Finance Director, Department heads, and Top Management
• Follow-up recommendations’ implementations
• Implement financial risk management strategy, determine, map, and track the risks
• Ad-hoc requests
• Prepare other reports and participate in other special projects as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master's degree
• Relevant professional certification is a plus
• 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years in leading an Internal Control division
• Experience in Risk Management
• Experience in a Big 4 is a plus
• Strong Data Analysis skills
• Great understanding of accounting and cash flows principles
• Good negotiating and conflict resolution skills
• Planning and organizational skills
• Ability to understand broader business issues
• Communication and presentation skills
• Tech-savvy and at ease with new technology usage and implementation
