DeFi Strategy Developer (Asia) - Crypto Company

Join The Company and help shape the future of trading systems for cryptocurrencies in the fast-paced world of digital assets. Working closely with traders and seasoned developers, you’ll build critical applications and tools for DeFi connectivity and infrastructure.
This role offers flexibility, working across multiple teams on projects like:

• DeFi order management.
• Blockchain and mempool inspection.
• Wallet management and security.
• Blockchain node and validator management.

Reporting to: CTO
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain DeFi order management tools using Python and TypeScript.
• Build and support the core systems powering DeFi trading.
• Take shared ownership of DeFi infrastructure, including blockchain nodes, validators, and secure application environments.
• Design and enhance security and wallet management systems.
• Analyze new DeFi projects, define integration requirements, and set timelines.
• Identify system improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot system issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with the team on system design, code reviews, trading strategies, and the occasional office banter.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in Python and TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience developing blockchain-related applications, either writing smart contracts or building applications that interact with them.
• In-depth knowledge of popular blockchain protocols (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche).
• Strong programming skills with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to balance clean, testable, and reliable code with the need for rapid deployment.
• A reliable team player who takes pride in delivering robust software and is comfortable supporting systems when needed.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating software concepts and designs.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with top-tier results.
