Compliance Associate - Cryptocurrency

Company:

The company needs a Compliance Manager to join their team to provide advice and support on regulatory compliance and adherence to applicable regional, federal and state laws. You will be responsible for developing policies and procedures for the internal team. A major component of the role will also be due diligence reviews and research.


Requirements:

• Experience designing compliance-related products including company guidelines
• Experience organising, analysing, and presenting data related to regulations
• Experience assisting with regulatory audits and examinations
• CAMS certified or equivalent an advantage
• Minimum 1 year prior experience in conducting suspicious activity monitoring or customer due diligence investigations
• In depth knowledge of banking, money service business and money transmission laws
• A well-organised self-starter who is able to work independently
• Time management and organisational skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well independently
• Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills
• Well-developed analytical skills

Remuneration and benefits: 

• Better than market rate with equity plan.
• $100K to $120K in line with experience plus additional company benefits.
