Blockchain Operations Engineer - Decentralized Interoperability

As a Blockchain Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Company's Network. You will take ownership of the network and its functions and ensure smooth operations. You will work with BD and Product teams to prioritize various initiatives around the network and contribute to tooling for the network.

• Manage releases and rollout upgrades to the network in collaboration with our validators.
• Develop and iterate on tooling around network deployment, monitoring, security and other network ops related functions.
• Drive governance of the network including the delegation program.
• Strengthen our security posture and refining protocols for offline signing.
• Improve the infrastructure and deployment to improve team's agility and velocity.
• Improve and iterate on internal tooling that our protocol engineers use to develop new features.

• Good understanding of cryptography.
• Scripting and tooling experience preferably in Javascript/Golang.
• Experience managing a blockchain network and coordinating upgrades.
• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes in a cloud environment.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools.
• Security first coding and deployment mindset.
• Understanding of blockchains / DeFi as a user.
• Experience with the cosmos sdk and cosmos based networks.
• Familiarity with the IBC protocol.
• Experience operating validators or nodes for various blockchains.
• Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to lead and share knowledge to reach solutions as well as the keenness to learn.
