Treasury Manager - Metaverse Project

We are looking for a Treasury Manager to build and lead the treasury activities at the company. You will strategize, plan, and manage the liquidity and short-term financial investments, as well as assesses the products, services, technologies, and systems that are available and appropriate for the Treasury department. You will manage one direct report and report to the Finance Director.


Responsibilities

• Onboard, train, and manage team members (Treasury Associate)
• Document and implement treasury policies and SOPs
• Forecast cash-flows
• Develop strategy and vision to maximize efficiencies & yield while safeguarding assets, in fiat and cryptos. Including Short term investment solutions, aligned with management risk appetite
• Implement risk management solutions, (capital market risks, interest exposure risks, currency risks), FX management, and hedging
• Secure assets, incl. wallets custody solutions
• Ensure liquidity availability and payments processing
• Identify and implement banking solutions and manage third party relations
• Implement relevant tools for the division to provide visibility and efficiency in the treasury operations
• Collaborate with the accounting division for reconciliation
• Collaborate with FP&A division for analysis, insightful comments at closings, and budgeting cycles
• Assists with M&A / valuation activity for Treasury
• Ensure compliance of the treasury activity, with regulations and internal controls
• Participate in internal/external audits
• Ad-hoc requests pertaining to Treasury
• Prepare other reports and participate in other special projects as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master’s degree
• 8+ years minimum of experience, including 4+ years, leading treasury function in a complex environment(s)
• Management experience
• Experience in a blockchain environment is mandatory
• Experience in multi-country – multi entities – multi-currencies is mandatory
• Financial modeling skills
• Analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of crypto investment strategies
